Chief of the Defence Staff Adm. Art McDonald wants his old job back, months after stepping aside as the Canada’s top military officer over an alleged sexual assault.
In a letter obtained by Global News, McDonald claims he should be reinstated now that he’s been cleared. McDonald is also criticizing the federal government’s handling of his case, and says any changes made to improve the culture of the military will be lost if he doesn’t return to his position.
