People already forced from their homes are being attacked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in what the United Nations has described as “daily massacres”.

Thousands are fleeing displacement camps and villages in the country’s east.

In simultaneous raids on Monday night, at least 57 people were killed, including seven children.

Al Jazeera’s Alexandra Byers reports.
