Health authorities are warning Canberrans to prepare for the “very real threat” of COVID-19 coming to the territory, amid the growing outbreak in Sydney.
ACT Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith says the government is “actively considering” new restrictions in the event the virus was to jump the border.
There are currently 1,400 ACT residents who are subject to stay-at-home orders in the capital.
