Australia’s ABC News reported that the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) has become the first Australian state to declare itself Covid-19 free, after the number of active cases in the territory reached zero.
The ACT has become the first Australian jurisdiction to be free of all known cases of the coronavirus. After a total of 106 diagnoses and three deaths, there are now no active cases. The territory reached the milestone after Canberran Jan Stoop recovered from the virus.
