ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “ACT aged care home cluster and cases rising in Watson prompts pop-up testing clinic | ABC News” – below is their description.
The COVID-19 outbreak in the ACT continues to grow steadily with 19 new cases recorded today.
Just four of those were in quarantine for their entire infectious period.
But it’s an evolving situation at an aged care home in Canberra’s north that has authorities increasingly worried.
What started with two staff members testing positive to the virus has grown into a cluster with residents now infected with the virus.
Watson residents have also been put on high alert with pop-up testing planned in the northside suburb over the weekend in an effort to find a mystery chain of transmission.
