‘Absurd’ to claim pro-Cummings tweet undermined legal process, says attorney general

The UK attorney  general Suella Braverman said her tweet in defence of Dominic Cummings did not amount to any undue interference in the potential legal process 
After the Guardian and the Daily Mirror revealed Cummings had travelled to Durham from London during the lockdown, in apparent breach of lockdown rules Braveman tweeted: ‘Protecting one’s family is what any good parent does. The @10DowningStreet statement clarifies the situation and it is wholly inappropriate to politicise it’
