The ABC has lost a legal challenge over a Federal Police raid on its Sydney headquarters last year.
Officers seized 89 documents relating to reports about Australian soldiers accused of unlawful killings in Afghanistan.
The national broadcaster says today’s court ruling is further evidence of the need for protections for public interest journalism and whistleblowers.
