“A Single Man” is a film directed by Tom Ford and starring Colin Firth which received a general release in 2010. The film is based on a novel by Christopher Isherwood. The plot concerns a grieving British professor living in California in the 1960’s. The man’s partner of 16 years has been killed in a car crash and so the professor contemplates suicide.
