    Santa Clara County, Calif. police confirmed on Wednesday that eight people were killed after a gunman opened fire at a VTA rail yard in San Jose earlier that day.

    Officials also said a bomb squad is on scene after explosive devices were found inside the rail facility.

    During an initial press conference, San Jose police spokesman Russell Davis confirmed there were multiple fatalities and multiple wounded, but the exact number was not immediately disclosed. He also confirmed that the suspect is dead.
