    Eight miners have been confirmed dead, three days after they got trapped in a coal mine in China’s central province of Henan. Rescuers say all of those trapped underground were suffocated. A coal and gas outburst blocked the tunnel on Friday, but over 300 workers managed to escape. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
