Russia Today, the Russian state-funded broadcaster, reports on Sweden’s Covid-19 “experiment” whereby they have taken a relaxed approach to the global pandemic. There have, to date, been 5,000+ cases and 200+ deaths.

Lockdown has not been proved to be anything other than a mitigation strategy, whereas South Korea was able to manage the outbreak by using testing, contact tracing and isolation for confirmed cases.
China did both, and appears to have reduced Covid-19 to almost nil within two months.
It remains to be seen if Sweden’s approach proves to be successful, or if they will need to initiate lockdown and further measures to prevent medical provision becoming strained, as it has in Italy, Spain, UK and Germany – and other European nations.
