    The 24th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) kicked off on June 11 at Shanghai Grand Theatre.

    The event has received its largest-ever number of entries this year, which marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and several films have struck a historical note.

    The winners will be announced during SIFF’s Golden Goblet Awards Ceremony on June 19.
