23yo woman with terminal cancer says two doctors failed to take lump biopsy | ABC News

Ashleigh Simrajh, a terminal cancer patient with a melanoma, tells ABC News (Australia) how, she feels, doctors failed to diagnose her condition.

A young Gold Coast woman diagnosed with terminal cancer is warning others against complacency.

Three years ago, Ashleigh Simrajh sought medical advice for a lump on her leg, but she says neither practitioner she went to ran any tests.

The lump was melanoma and now the 23-year-old is in palliative care.

Ashleigh Stevenson reports.
