Over the past few weeks 7NEWS brought to you stories of seriously ill children and their very determined parents. It was all part of the Sydney Sick Kids Appeal to raise funds to help families get through tough times.

Today’s goal was $3 million and we’ve just passed it. The appeal reaching $3.171 million a short time ago.
