14 children and a teacher have been killed in a shooting at a primary school in Texas.

The attack happened at Robb Elementary School in the city of Uvalde.

The state’s Governor Greg Abbott said the gunman was 18-year-old Salvador Ramos.

The gunman, who was armed with a handgun and may have also had a rifle, was shot dead by police officers.
