12,000 km of Australian beaches under threat from climate change | ABC News

A European study has warned half of the world’s beaches could disappear if not efforts are made to tackle climate change.

It identifies Australia as particularly vulnerable, but argues moderate emissions reduction efforts could save up to 40 per cent of the coastline.
