An 11-year-old from Toowoomba who beat cancer has been made the new face of Relay for Life in the region this year.

Tayte hopes to raise awareness of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, which he was diagnosed with, as well as funds for the Cancer Council.

“We are able to make people aware and the awareness is what it is all about.” Kristal Gill, Tayte’s mum.
