ASRC Management Services has been awarded a Multi-Disciplinary Engineering and Technology Services II contract to provide engineering services to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The contract has a maximum value of $250 million.
ASRC Management Services will provide spaceflight and ground system hardware and software. In support of Goddard’s Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate, the ASRC Management Services team will develop new technologies for future space and science missions.
“This is a significant win for our company, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support Goddard Space Flight Center and help NASA achieve its mission objectives,” said Tim Lewis, ASRC Management Services president.
The five-year contract will provide continued or new employment for about 200 people. Work on the contract begins August 23 and will be performed at Goddard and ASRC Management Services facilities in Greenbelt.
Goddard Space Flight Center is planning a number of satellite missions for the future including a Big Bang Observer and Black Hole Imager.
