Murdoch Mysteries Series 4 Episode 1 on Alibi

Set in late 1890s Toronto, the fourth season of Murdoch Mysteries returns to the story of  Detective William Murdoch – a pioneering Canadian policeman. The tale is based on the novels by British-born Canadian author Maureen Jennings.

In episode one, the Canadian detective tussles with personal problems at the same time as a gruesome murder involving carpentry, axes and cement. Not only that, but his ground-breaking techniques and uncompromising nature lead him to clash with Dr. Llewllyn Francis, the proud and less-than-cutting-edge pathologist.

The Murdoch Mysteries will air on Alibi (UKTV) on 15th February 2011 at 9pm in the UK only.
