Maserati Fendi Release Limited Edition “Grigio Fiamma Fendi”

Maserati customers can now buy an even more exclusive version of the GranCabrio designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi , as part of the Made-in-Italy initiative.

The Grigio Fiamma Fendi grey car is a result of the ongoing collaboration between the Italian fashion house and Maserati and will be produced in Modena using exclusive materials in addition to the unique three-layered body colour.

Inside the car the FENDI yellow Pergamena Fendi wood trim runs across the full width of the dashboard as well as across the door trims and on the gear lever, echoing the double F-logo on the seats, 19-inch wheels and engine.

Cuoio Romano, Fendi’s most precious leather, has been used to cover the instrument cluster, gear lever and floor mats as well as in the manufacture of the limited edition luggage and accessories.

A silver plaque with the Maserati trident, Fendi logo and the 5-digit series number engraved on it is fitted to the dashboard and on both sides of the black cloth folding roof. Owners will also received a black car cover with a ton-sur-ton double F logo to protect the car whilst it is garaged.

The 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine and automatic transmission are untouched, with the 440 hp car having a top speed of 175 mph (280 km/h), passing 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.4 seconds. Thanks to its 2,492 mm wheelbase, the longest on the market, the Maserati is a full four-seater too, unlike many of its rivals.

Maserati previously joined the iconic fashion brand at the exclusive AmfAR charity gala at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes on the 19th May 2011 during the Cannes film festival, where models from the Maserati range served as luxury shuttles for Fendi top management and VIP invitees. Silvia Venturini Fendi, the head of accessories, arrived in a GranTurismo.

No details about the price of the Grigio Fiamma Fendi have been released at this time.
