With Coleen’s Son’s Wedding On The Horizon: Do Mums Mollycoddle Their Sons? | Loose Women

Loose Women published this video item, entitled “With Coleen’s Son’s Wedding On The Horizon: Do Mums Mollycoddle Their Sons? | Loose Women” – below is their description.

As Shane’s big day draws nearer, Coleen has butterflies! She admits that her first-born son is a bit of a ‘Mummy’s boy’, confessing to still ironing his shirts and doing his laundry from time to time. But can doting motherly behaviour create difficulties for newlywed men? The Pope himself issued some tough love-style parenting advice, ordering overprotective mothers to not mollycoddle their male children. Janet agrees that mothers-in-law can be bad influences, having had her fair share of run-ins, while Katie sympathises with the notion of having to ‘give your child away’, and the ‘empty nest’ syndrome that seeing your child marry can bring about.

From series 26, broadcast on 05/07/22
