A special edition Citroën has been unveiled this week at the Milan Furniture Show.
Designers from around the world will have the chance to view the Citroën DS3 Cabrio L’Uomo Vogue Limited Edition in Piazza Gae Aulenti from 10 to 14 April.
The first prototype of the car was sold at silent auction to raise one hundred thousand Euros for Women Create Life, a project to support and promote activities aimed at improving women and children’s health through artistic and cultural initiatives.
1,700 orders have already been received for the Citroën DS3 Cabrio L’Uomo Vogue Limited Edition, which is signed by the Italian magazine of the same name.
A kit containing the DS bag, one year’s membership of the DS Privilege Club and a one-year subscription to L’Uomo Vogue are supplied with the vehicle. Turn-key list price from 27,750 Euros.
To celebrate the launch at the International Furniture Show, the designers of the car and L’Uomo Vogue combined forces to design a DS sofa for the occasion:
“The distinctive DS lines and spirit are concentrated in this unique piece of furniture inspired by the world of automobiles and the art of Citroën’s master craftsmen.”
So if you think your Citroën is so comfortable you’d like to drive it into your living room, just hop along to the 2013 International Furniture Show in Milan for a peek at this unique piece of interior design.
