Kate Moss Kicks Off London Fashion Week with Bold Red Lipstick

Ultra-celebrity Kate Moss has kicked off London Fashion Week with a launch night for a new range of Rimmel lipstick at Battersea Power Station. The Georgia May Jagger and Solange Knowles turned out to support the star ahead of the signature British fashion gathering which begins on Friday.

Moss has been the face of Rimmel for 10 years – since she was 27. To mark the occasion, Rimmel will helicopter the star in for the party on Thursday 15th September. The Noisettes and Queens of Noize will play before Beyonce’s little sister takes to the decks.

The lipstick range is designed to be wearable and to cover every outfit requirement. Moss’ favourite shade is the number 1 bright red. The UK highstreet chemist, Boots, will get the exclusive stock of the new range.

The model admitted to also liking Sisley skincare, she always uses sun cream and has some advice for balancing make-up application:

“I love a smoky eye. And mascara. My makeup rule is to either have a strong eye or a strong lip not both together.”

When the party is over, Moss will be returning to the Cotswolds for some countryside relaxation with friends and family.
