Despite the pandemic, anti-racism protests have erupted all over America over the weekend, with Black Lives Matter demonstrations organised here in the UK. They follow the death of 46-year-old George Floyd who was killed during an arrest by police officers last week. Today, Judi shares her experiences of racism and tells Andrea, Jane and Denise, why having to tell her son he might be judged by the colour of his skin was so upsetting.
The Loose Women also talk about whether those who have never had to grow up with racism can ever truly understand it and how can we all better educate ourselves?
From series 24, broadcast on 01/06/20
