The Earl of March took time out at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to looks at Ford’s new one litre racing car.

The FF1 was piloted round the Goodwood track by racing driver Nick Tandy and showed the 50,000 assembled spectators that small can be beautiful.

The 495kg car is powered by a tuned version of the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which delivers 200 bhp and acceleration of 0-60mph in less than four seconds.
