Sticky Toffee Pudding a great British dessert

How to make Sticky toffee pudding easily with some simple ingredients.

For the Sticky Toffee Pudding

200g / 7oz of Dates
250g / 9oz of water
175g / 6oz of Plain or All purpose flour
175g / 6oz of Granulated Sugar
60g / 2oz of Softened Unsalted Butter
2 Large Beaten Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda or Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder

For the Sauce

300mls / 10oz / ½ pint of Double / Whipping Cream
1 tbs of Brown Sugar
2 tbs of Black treacle or Blackstrap Molasses
½ tsp of Vanilla Extract
