Ingredients for the Meatballs
500g / 18oz Minced or Ground beef / 15% fat
200g / 8oz Bread crumbs
1 Large egg (beaten)
1 Medium onion (finely chopped)
1tsp Minced garlic
½tsp Dried basil
½tsp Dried Oregano
1tsp Salt
1tsp Hot chilli powder (optional)
Ingredients for the Pasta Sauce
3 Tins / cans of chopped tomatoes
1 Large onion, (medium chopped)
4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
A few fresh basil leaves (chopped)
1tsp Dried basil 1tsp dried Oregano
1tsp Salt
2tbls Olive oil
