    Bangers & Mash Recipe

    Ingredients

    • Pork Sausage
    • Potatoes
    • Red Onion
    • Garlic
    • Chives
    • Rosemary
    • Beef stock (or any stock)
    • Olive Oil
    • Worcestershire Sauce
    • Balsamic Vinegar
    • Grain Mustard
    • Smoked salt

    Method

    1. Boiling water in pan – add salt
    2. Cut potatoes super small to allow them to boil within 8 minutes
    3. Olive oil into a frying pan for sausages
    4. Prick sausages with cocktail stick
    5. Crush garlic, add to frying pan with rosemary
    6. Turn sausages around until there’s plenty of colour
    7. Olive oil in another frying pan and put finely sliced red onion in
    8. Tip some boiling water out of potatoes
    9. Add butter to sausages
    10. Baste sausages
    11. Sausages into the oven at 160c
    12. Tiny teaspoon of sugar onto the onions
    13. Add salt & butter to the onions
    14. Balsamic vinegar onto onions
    15. Lea & Perrins worcestershire sauce onto onions
    16. Reduce sauce on onions
    17. Add touch of stock to onions “don’t flood the pan”
    18. Drain potatoes and put back into hot pan, mash
    19. Add olive oil & beat in
    20. Turn gas down, add smoked salt & mustard, fresh chives to mashed potatoes
    21. Turn gas off
    22. Add a small knob of butter to the red onion
    23. Serve
