Chief Creative Officer Donatella Versace wore two bespoke Atelier Versace dresses to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Atelier Versace’s visionary design is accompanied by meticulous research of only the finest materials and fabrics. Exceptional silk, heritage Metal Mesh and Swarovski crystal mesh are meticulously draped and pleated by the house’s masterful dressmakers.
Exemplifying the House’s savoir-faire, the asymmetric bodice of Regina King’s Oscars gown is entirely embroidered with Swarovski crystals giving of a fluid effect. After over 1000 hours of minute hand-pleating and draping, Cynthia Erivo’s two gowns are then enriched with lustrous Swarovski crystals applied by hand. Chief Creative Officer Donatella Versace’s after party Metal Mesh dress is embellished with hand-appliqué of sculptural palm leaves crafted from experimental materials.
