Dilek Hanif: Spring Summer 2014 Collection Presented in Paris

Dilek Hanif’s collection for Spring Summer 2014 was presented at Paris Haute Couture week in the elegant surroundings of the Four Seasons Hotel.

Attendees were presented with champagne and a huge variety of coloured macaroons in the lobby of the prestigious venue. Once inside the catwalk room, overlooked by a magnificent chandelier, guests were welcomed with glossy gift bags containing hair oil.

Two princesses and an ambassador were present at the show, including members of the Al Thani family. Other diplomats and notables from the Middle East and Central Asia convened in the Salon Vendôme to see what the Turkish designer had prepared for the season ahead.

The collection consisted of shimmering wrapping encased by delicate trains. A muted colour scheme contrasted with exquisite beading in fiery patterns, evoking images of Arabia. Thousands of hours of beading work made up the gold and bronze detailing, culminating in an awesome display of sophisticated finesse.

A meticulously crafted collection – fit for royalty.
