Over the weekend, Love Island’s power couple, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury, revealed that Molly is pregnant with their first child at 23 years old, the age many of her peers are on the first rung of the career ladder. Brenda, Ruth, Janet and Coleen discuss whether you should have children before or after starting your career. Ruth and Brenda are at opposite ends of the spectrum of when they started motherhood, with Ruth having Jack at 42 and Brenda having Jamal at 21. And Janet felt that ‘back in the day’ women, unfortunately, weren’t able to excel in their careers without being able to afford childcare.
