Briony stole our hearts on Great British Bake Off in 2018. The semi-finalist was heavily praised for representing people with disabilities, even though it was something she never directly addressed on the show, as she insists that her hand is “part of her, not all of her.” Briony has since gone on to win the Great Christmas Bake Off 2019, and also became a presenter on Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped in 2019. As part of our ongoing Body Stories campaign, Briony joins the Loose Women to discuss for the first time her birth defect, which left her with one hand much smaller than the other and reveals why we need to stop shying away from discussing disability.
