Trump calls on banning chokeholds with exceptions. Senate judiciary committee “Holds use of force” hearing. Attorney Lee Merritt stated, “This is an American crisis.”

District Attorney to make a decision on charing Atlanta police officers. Rayshard brooks, 27, shot by APD ofc. Garrett Rolfe. Rolfe fired from the police force after the deadly shooting. Records show Rolfe reprimanded in 2017 for using excessive force. Officer Devin Brosnan was placed on administrative leave.
