On October 20, the Harvard Law School Library hosted Catherine Grace Katz and Scott Turow for a discussion of her new book “Daughters of Yalta.” Catherine is a rising 2L at HLS and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College. Her first book, “Daughters of Yalta,” was released by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in September 2020 and has been called “skillful” by the New York Times. “The Daughters of Yalta: The Churchills, Roosevelts, and Harrimans: A Story of Love and War” is the untold story of the three intelligent and glamorous young women who accompanied their famous fathers to the Yalta Conference in February 1945, and of the conference’s fateful reverberations in the waning days of World War II. Catherine will be joined in conversation with Scott Turow ’78, bestselling author of “Presumed Innocent,” “The Burden of Proof,” and “One L,” a book about his first year of law school. Author of 11 books of fiction and three books of nonfiction, his works have been translated into more than 40 languages and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
