Daniel Ellsberg, the former military analyst responsible for leaking the Pentagon Papers in 1971, visited Harvard Law School in 2011 for a discussion in which he drew parallels between the Pentagon Papers and WikiLeaks, the organization that publishes news leaks and classified media provided by anonymous sources. Ellsberg was introduced by HLS Professor Charles Nesson ’63, who had served as one of his defense attorneys.
