Odette Pinard murder: After 25 years, still no answers in infamous Montreal cold case

Crime Beat TV published this video item, entitled “Odette Pinard murder: After 25 years, still no answers in infamous Montreal cold case” – below is their description.

25 years ago, Montreal police constable Odette Pinard was shot and killed inside a police station in the middle of a snowstorm.

Over two decades later, her death remains one of the city’s most notorious cold cases.

The police officer was shot a single time in the head in November 1995 while she was working alone at a new community police station in Cartierville.

A few months later, another Montreal Urban Community Police constable, André Lalonde was killed.

Five years ago, Global’s Mike Armstrong sat down with Odette’s parents to reflect on the 20th anniversary of Odette’s death.

He met the Pinards at their home in Quebec City, the same home where they raised their daughter.

Maybe the biggest thing that’s changed in the neighbourhood is the name of the street behind them: A few years ago, the city renamed it Rue Odette Pinard.
