Crime Beat TV published this video item, entitled “Alberta mother, toddler allegedly killed by known sex offender who lived next door” – below is their description.
A mother and her 16-month-old toddler who were reported missing in Hinton, Alta. were allegedly killed by their neighbour last week in a double homicide in Hinton, Alberta.
Police arrested and charged 53-year-old Robert Keith Major with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of committing an indignity to human remains.
A silent vigil was held for 24-year-old Mchale Busch and her 16-month-old son Noah McConnell outside the Alberta courthouse on Tuesday.
“He was my next-door neighbour,” Cody McConnell, the partner of Busch and father of Noah said.
McConnell said his family had only been living in the building for 10 days before the crimes happened.
McConnell said the justice system failed them, by not letting them know a convicted sex offender — who Alberta Justice says has a criminal record dating back to the early 1990s and has been convicted of sex crimes — lived nearby.
