This racing bar chart shows the number of cases in which contracts play a role in the courts of the United Kingdom from 1980 to 2020. It is the result of the research project ‘What goes on in court? Identifying contract-related topics decided by United Kingdom courts from 1709 to 2021 using machine learning’ by Ahmed Izzidien, Holli Sargeant, Felix Steffek (University of Cambridge).
