The Lamborghini Aventador and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport will be the star attractions at the 6th Salon Privé, held at Syon House in West London, England.
The prestigious event is held over the weekend of the 22-24th June 2001 and will feature cars from the world’s most revered car makers including Bentley, Bugatti, Maserati, and Rolls-Royce.
The supercar lawn has always been a favourite with spectators keen to get close to their favourite cars and was used in 2009 by Jaguar to launch their XJ range and Aston Martin for their One-77 supercar – with a price tag of £1 million.
This year, Salon Privé guests will see the pinnacle of the super sports car segment with both the Lamborghini Aventador and Bugatti’s 268 mph, land speed record breaking Veyron Super Sport being displayed. Other manufacturers will use Salon Privé to debut cars including the BMW 6 Series coupe and convertible, Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, Range Rover Evoque, Aston Martin Virage & V8 Vantage S, Hennessy Venom GT, Eagle E-Type Speedster Lightweight, Rolls-Royce 102EX and the Jensen Interceptor R.
Given its reputation for being an exclusive boutique-style event, Salon Privé attracts an interesting selection of rare, international, ultra exclusive brands which are virtually impossible to see together anywhere else in the world.
Syon House, family home of the Duke of Northumberland, is one of England’s moist beautiful stately homes and was home to King Henry VIII’s fifth wife, Catherine Howard, who was imprisoned there before being taken to the Tower of London and executed in 1542.
During the weekend guests will be able to enjoy the free flowing Pommery Champagne, lobster luncheon, specialist wines, a complimentary bar and traditional afternoon tea in the shadow of the imposing house surrounded by some of the world’s most desirable cars.
It’s not only supercars that guests will enjoy however. Salon Privé is also hosting a bespoke, ‘Quintessentially English’ RM Auction during the three-day event as well as the annual Concours d’Elégance. Salon Privé Co-Founder, David Bagley says: “Salon Privé 2011 is going to be an excellent event; the interest we are experiencing from exhibitors is extraordinary. We’ve confirmed a number of UK debuts and many other very special vehicles. What’s more, we’ve substantially added to the event this year. Guests can now actually drive some of the cars on the super car lawn. 2011 marks another influential change to Salon Privé and that lies under our beautiful new venue, Syon Park, which delivers more accessibility, space and indulgence.”
