Kris Van Assche Spring Summer 2011

Kris Van Assche the Belgian designer also the Creative director for Dior Homme presented a very monochromatic look this season for his Menswear show in Paris.

The Spring Summer 2011 collection combined a mixture of unstructured broken tailoring with a work wear edge thrown in. Hi waisted loosely tied martial arts style trousers were teamed with deep v-necks and granddad tops. Offered in contrast there were low-slung trousers and a varied and stylish array of beautiful men’s jackets from wool through to leather.

The paint splattered tops and trousers towards the latter part of the collection as they came down the runway explained the models dipped in paint black fingers.

A nod to the working man and the main theme behind the collection.
