India: Delhi’s religion riots leave 38 dead

More than 30 people have been killed in religious riots in Delhi.

The violence broke out between supporters of – and protesters against – a controversial new citizenship law, designed to make it harder for Muslims from neighbouring countries to become Indian citizens.
