Global Champions Tour Heads to Estoril – Portugal

The 7th round of The Global Champions Tour of Showjumping heads to Estoril Portugal this weekend.  Leading the rankings so far this series is Australias Edwina Alexander on 155 points, followed by Germanys Ludger Beerbaum on 151 points, and 3rd is Alvaro de Miranda of Brazil on 123 points.

The Global Champions Tour is growing in popularity with riders and sponsors, not least due to the massive prizemoney now available. In total, Estoril will hand out 141,00 euros in prizemoney over the weekend for the four international classes.

Provisional timetable as follows:

    •  11h00(CET)    International 5* 1.45m (GCT Live Streaming commences at  9h45)
    • 21h00 (CET)    International 5* 1.50m (GCT Live Streaming commences at  20h45 CET)
  • Saturday 2nd July           
    • 12h45 (CET)    International 5* 1.45m 2 phase (includes 15 minute GCT magazine)
    • 20h00(CET)    Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Portugal (Live Streaming commences at 17h45 (CET) with the
      – GCT Magazine followed by the first round)

He also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from Monash University.
