Manchester City have agreed a fee to purchase Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko from German Bundesliga side, VfL Wolfsburg.
Roberto Mancini, manager of Man City, has confirmed that his bid for the 24 year old player, who is a Bosnian international, has been accepted.
Dzeko has attracted the attention of a number of top European clubs in recent seasons, after his 26 goals in 32 games helped Wolfsburg to a somewhat surprising German title two seasons ago. His tally of 66 goals in 111 club appearances is impressive.
Dzeko has also scored 17 times from 31 international appearances, indicating that he is versatile enough to adapt to the slightly different playing style of the English Premier League.
The fee is believed to be between £27-£35million, though the player has yet to agree personal contract terms.
