FIFA World Cup 2014: Switzerland 23 Man Squad

Switzerland coach, Ottmar Hitzfeld, has selected his 23 man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Swiss, whose best ever performance in the tournament came when they were quarter-finalists in 1954, will be looking for their best-ever World Cup in the modern era, as they have not made it past the first knock-out match since that quarter final.

They have an opportunity in 2014, from Group E, as they compete with France, Ecuador and Honduras: if they are able to produce two or three good performances, they could well progress to the Round of 16.
