RBS 6 Nations 2011: Wales Name Team to Face England

Wales coach Warren Gatland has named his squad to face England in Friday evening’s RBS 6 Nations 2011 opening match at the Millennium Stadium.

James Hook will start the match at full-back, Lee Byrne will begin the game as a replacement.

Morgan Stoddart will start his first match for Wales since 2008 as he replaces the injured Leigh Halfpenny on the right wing, though danger man and prolific points-scorer Shane Williams is starting on the other side.

Paul James and Craig Mitchell come into the staring XV as props replacing Gethin Jenkins and Adam Jones who are both carrying injuries.

Wales v England will kick-off at 19:45 GMT (20:45 CET) on Friday 4th February 2011, at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
