Movie: “Thor” – Starring Chris Hemsworth & Natalie Portman

Based on the comic book, Thor, this is the fable of a warrior, cast out of the kingdom of Asgard. An ancient Norse God, Thor wields a hammer, is a fearsome fighter, has magical powers and Nordic blonde hair.

In the film, he lands on earth in a cloud and learns to eat eggs over easy, before taking his favoured weapon and waging intergalactic war on those who threaten the planet.

With film veteran Anthony Hopkins playing the warrior boss Odin and Oscar-winning Natalie Portman playing the lead female, this promises to be the best family viewing of the summer.

  1. It’s my belief that the Thor movie will be a great success.

I feel Marvel have gone the right way about things with their well timed releases of images and the 2 “official” Thor movie trailers.

It’s also a very good cast: Hopkins, Portman, Hemsworth etc.
