Football: Stoke City 2-1 West Ham United – FA Cup 2011 Sixth Round Highlights

Stoke City reached the FA Cup 2011 Semi-Final by recording a 2-1 home victory over West Ham United in the Sixth Round on Sunday 13th March 2011.

Robert Huth scored for the hosts after just 12 minutes, but Piquionne equalised on 30 minutes, meaning the sides came in level, at 1-1.

In the second half, however, Stoke took a 2-1 lead and kept hold of it to progress to the 2011 FA Cup Semi-Final. The winning goal came from Higginbotham on 63 minutes, despite the hosts having missed a penalty early in the half, as Etherington saw Robert Green save his well struck penalty in the opening minute of the half.
