Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011: “Happier Maché”

Edinburgh festival fringe 2011: "happier maché" 1Peeling PVA will present Happier Maché at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011. The comedy troupe consists of the original three founders plus Liam McDonnell and Anna Cory – a comedienne who will also be performing with Fresh Bread this year.

The Peeling PVA Company started in 2008 in York. Of the three original founders, John Rushton and Stuart Young are still active performers, while Edmund Robinson contributes in a production capacity. Their first Fringe production in 2009 was a free, non-ticketed performance, The Peeling PVA Company (PPC) Possibly Presents Rent-A-Toast. The show received a five star review at the same time as being dubbed “the worst named show at the Fringe”.

The “double-double act” are aiming to put on a larger and more ambitious performance for 2011. They also have a free stand up show at Base.
