The Tragic Death of Princess Diana

The Royal Family Channel published this video item, entitled “The Tragic Death of Princess Diana” – below is their description.

‘The Tragic Death of Princess Diana’

Princess Diana died 25 years ago, at just 36 years old. The princess’s funeral is still one of the most widely-viewed events to this day. Some say that it was this fascination and obsession with every inch of Diana’s life that ultimately caused her death.

Shortly after midnight, on 31st August, 1997, Diana’s car left the Ritz hotel in Paris. Like the end of so many of the Princess’s engagements – photographers were waiting outside.

The car – carrying her and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed – was chased through the streets at high speed when it crashed into a pillar in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel, close to the Eiffel Tower.

Despite the tragic end to her life, Princess Diana is remembered for so much more – including her style, grace and the two children she left behind.
