It was the traditional Bankers’ and Merchants’ Black Tie Dinner taking place in Central London – attended by various members of Parliament – until Greenpeace activists gatecrashed the swanky event. The climate change protesters were forcibly removed with Foreign minister Mark Field pushing and then grabbing the neck of one campaigner, Janet Barker – with the footage going viral. Almost a week later, Ms Barker says she will not press charges against him – although she has still not received an apology. She’s suggested Mr Field (now suspended) should take anger management classes. She joins us alongside her Greenpeace colleague Lauren Tobia.
